Oil is a natural resource that can be found in plastics, asphalt, cleaning products, and even cosmetics, however, one of the primary uses of oil is most likely sitting outside in your driveway. Cars need oil to run properly.

There are two primary car oils on the market: synthetic and conventional. Question is, which one is better for your car? That is not always an easy question to answer and is best left to trained mechanics.

Here are a couple of facts that can help you decide what oil you want to put in your vehicle. Synthetic oils are fabricated in a lab. They mix synthetic oil with natural oil. The result creates higher performance in your vehicle especially in extreme environments or if you do quite a bit of driving. Synthetic oil also does better in extreme heat or extreme cold. Natural oil is perfectly fine if you travel short distances around town or have an older car.
