The iconic Porsche 911 has been wowing drivers for over 50 years, and earlier this month the one-millionth 911 took to the road on some of Europe's most breathtaking terrain, the Scottish Highlands.

The one millionth cruiser led a convoy of 911s on an ambitious two-day and 500-mile road trip from Edinburgh Castle to the Scottish West Coast and the Kyle of Lochalsh, just south of the Isle of Skye, and finally, to Edinburgh.

The flotilla of about 20 911s featured models from all walks of life including the 1967 Targa, via the 964, the 993, 996 and a 959. There was also an extremely rare GT1. GT Model Line Director, Andreas Preuninger, and 911 Model Line Director, Thomas Krickelberg, joined journalists and private 911 owner from around the world.
